Welcome to the Children's Information Service Website

Our Statement of Service

Wakefield District Children's Information Service (CIS) provides a FREE, high quality, up-to-date and impartial service to parents, carers and parents to be on the full range of information that they might need to support them and their children right through to their child's 20th birthday.  We also work with those organisations and professionals who support families to ensure all parents are able to access the service.

Service Standards/Customer Care

At the CIS we aim to give a first class service every time, and be consistent in our approach.  Customers are to be truly valued, kept informed and have a measure of personal control.  We will continue to strive, enhance and improve our performance to meet customers' needs.  To view a full copy of our Service Standards see Related Downloads in the Parents section.

Comments and Compliments
